Alice Gordon AKA @kiia_alice is a name that many within the UK dance music scene will have no doubt come across during the last couple of years. A 20 something DJ based in Bristol, Kiia has spent the last 5 years building her artistic profile within the musically rich landscape that Bristol currently has to offer. With a residency at Bristol’s experimental D.I.Y night Dialogue, and monthly shows on 1020 Radio and Noods Radio, Kiia is very much in demand, not only within the Bristol community, but on a much larger scale also.

This was evidenced most recently when Kiia was selected for her efforts to become one of ten UK artists to take part in Smirnoff’s Equalizing Music, an initiative set up to provide 10 aspiring female artists access to first hand advice and mentorship programmes, with established artists such as American powerhouse @blackmadonnachi . A well-deserved spotlight for Alice, this opportunity was topped off with a penultimate performance at London’s hottest warehouse venue @printworkslondon in 2018. Add to this, the recent news that Kiia has been booked to play @lstdbristol (Love Saves The Day Festival) and Glastonbury 2019, and it’s safe to forecast nothing but big things for this upcoming artist.

Co-founder of Cue- a popular Bristol based event series that has to date, hosted the likes of DJ Slyngshot, Desert Sound Colony, Cinnaman, Violet, and most recently Roza Terenzi - Kiia looks to give back to her local Bristol scene by curating on point bookings in safe and exciting environments. This carefully thought out focus on selection and arrangement within events also translates into Kiia's refreshing mixing style and approach to track selection, often seeing her pull for less conventional dance music sub genres and bpm ranges to keep things fresh.
