One in which progressive individuals and forward-thinking collectives have began carving up established musical landscapes in favour for more community based, DIY initiatives.

With family feel radio stations such as Noods Radio providing a significant local platform on which to springboard such individuals and their creative ventures, the city now ushers in a fresh new wave of DJ’s, Producers, and Promoters through its doors each week.However, standing out amongst your peers and maintaining individuality in such a musically rich environment can be tough. But not for Tilly Springer.

Originally from Gloucestershire, Bristol based DJ and top-drawer selector Tilly has spent the last 2 years DJing in and around Bristol, as well as performing every 4th Wednesday for her popular Noods Radio residency. Quickly building a reputation for her on point selections and refreshingly fluid approach to mixing between genres, Tilly commands a level of artistic awareness and respect amongst her peers that many artists spend years cultivating.

With a brilliant debut appearance on NTS Radio recently, the Bristol based DJ is expanding her reach at an impressive rate, proven most recently by Flo Dill’s glowing recommendation in Stamp The Wax, where Tilly is quoted as being her “Go to DJ at the moment”. 2019 sees Tilly continuing this one-woman ascent through the ranks, with bookings at UK Festivals and future appearances on NTS radio.
